EVC reached out to Red Nose Australia, an array of air conditioning manufacturers, NSW Health & The Centres Safe Sleep Policy to gain insight on how to best keep our smallest clients comfortable and safe while they sleep.
This led to a change in the design for the cot room & play areas for children under two years old.
The new design utilises low velocity laminar flow diffusers, which are engineered to provide a uniform, unidirectional low velocity air pattern to avoid turbulent air blowing directly on the faces of sleeping babies.
Additionally, the controls were set to remain consistent in both heating & cooling modes with the ability to be modified in line with the most up to date advice from NSW Health & Red Nose Australia.
